"lightflakes" was exhibited at the showroom of our venue partner "B&B Italia Tokyo", for DESIGNART TOKYO 2017.
DESIGNART TOKYO brings together items and experiences like design & art from around the globe to the stage of Tokyo, one of the world's leading mixed culture cities, in a revolutionary assembly of presentations in Japan. The showroom represents the best of B&B Italia's modern Italian furniture and is a high quality space with greenery and natural light from the glass facade. By adding ‘’lightflakes’’ to a showroom with a comfortable light and dark atmosphere, we created an exhibition space where visitors can experience light in a new dimension. ‘’lightflakes’’ is a masterpiece; an elaborate piece of art created by capturing and arranging the existing ambient light, such as soft natural light, reflected light from the greenery, surrounding light from the furniture, and lighting in the dark.
