フランスの照明ブランド DCW éditions PARISにより製品化された作品「FOCUS」
ミラノサローネサテリテ2018で世界初公開したオリジナルの FOCUS はモビール状に吊った複数の薄く軽い平らなレンズにLED照明を組み合わせたインテリアオブジェとして発表されました。FOCUS はその場の環境を織りなす 光・空気・風景 の各要素に改めて焦点を当て、再構築することで、環境の変化に呼応した新たな光景を絶えず空間に作りだします。DCW éditions PARIS とコラボレーションすることでプロダクトとして新たに発表するにあたり、再度検討したディテールはオリジナルよりも洗練され、さらにコンセプトが際立つ仕上がりとなりました。ミラノサローネサテリテで発表したオリジナルの色は 白 のみでしたが、DCW éditions PARIS とのコラボレーションにより黒 が追加。サイズは２パターン（３レンズ ver. / ５レンズ ver. ）がラインナップされました。

DCW éditions PARIS は 近代建築の父 ル・コルビジェ が自身のオフィスで愛用するだけでなく、彼が手がけた世界中のプロジェクトでも採用するほど魅了されたタスクライト「Gras Lamp」を復刻する権利を獲得した３人の支持者が設立したフランスの照明メーカーです。
その後も建築家がデザインした過去の名作を復刻、製品化するだけでなく、フランス現代建築を代表する建築家の１人、ドミニク・ペローなどとのコラボレーションで革新的な照明器具を新たに製作するなど躍進を続けています。沖津雄司 は DCW éditions PARIS がコラボレーションした日本人・アジア人初の建築家となりました。

FOCUS, the work by Yuji Okitsu first exhibited worldwide at Milano Salone Satellite 2018, is now released by the French lighting brand DCW éditions PARIS.The mobile-style structure consisting of multiple thin and light flat lenses and LED lights, FOCUS is designed by Yuji Okitsu as an interior object. By re-focusing on and re-composing the existing elements such as light, air, and scenery, FOCUS continually creates a new scenery responding to subtle ambient changes in the space. In collaboration with DCW éditions PARIS, the details have been reconsidered and refined to create a new lighting work that is even more sophisticated and conceptual than the original. Originally presented in Milan in white only, black has been added in collaboration with DCW éditions PARIS. Two different sizes (3-lens ver. / 5-lens ver.) will be available to suit various spaces.

DCW éditions PARIS is a producer of objects : The various collections are in permanent dialogue with each other, testament to DCW éditions PARIS’ commitment to producing timeless objects that never give in to fashion. They have reproduced the ‘Gras Lamp’, the task light that the father of modern architecture Le Corbusier was fascinated by and used in his own offices as well as in projects all over the world. Since then, the company has been reproducing and commercializing past masterpieces designed by architects.
In addition, the collection has collaborated with some of the most important architects in modern French architecture, such as Dominique Perrault, to create new and innovative lighting products. Yuji Okitsu is the first Asian / Japanese architect to be collaborated with by DCW éditions PARIS.
